Simply drag and drop the
docuWeavercomponent to the desired location on your record page layout.Configure component properties if required (e.g.
Allowed Storage Profile,Max File Size(kB),Always ask profile,Base Path).Note: The base path defines the default folder structure for file storage within docuWeaver.
By default, the structure is configured as
{schema:objectName}/{record:Id}. This configuration creates a folder named after the Salesforce object (e.g.,Account) and a subfolder using the record's unique ID (e.g.,0015j00000XyYzZAAU). All attachments related to that specific record are stored within this folder. Each Salesforce record automatically generates a unique folder based on its ID. The base path can be customized by referencing any record field, such as
{Account.Name}, or by specifying a static folder name, such asLegal_Docs.This allows for flexible organization of attachments according to business requirements.
